I have passport as a secondary. They filed with my primary but my secondary has no claim on file from them. They knew i had passport and now are trying to claim timely filing so that they can collect a 840$ bill that i do not have to give, They said that it is my bill although they have just contacted me recently about it.Initial Complaint

On January 23rd I had an epidural done while delivering my son. I get a bill in February for $2800. I sent back the form with my insurance information and to update my home address. I check their website and it has a zero balance. I get another letter last week asking for my health insurance again for $2800. I go online to pay my bill and my health insurance is already added to my account it seems but no claim has been filed through my insurance company. I sent them an email from my work email to ask if I need to file a claim with my insurance and asked for their tax identification number because my insurance company requires that to even submit the claim and it’s not on the bill. I get no reply via email or phone. I sent a second email via my personal email and still nothing.Customer response

Better Business Bureau: Good afternoon, I got an email regarding my complaint against One Anesthesia, PLLC saying the case was closed as an unanswered. The business was able to reach out to me finally, and we were able to resolve my billing issue, and run through my claim through my health insurance. This business sent a bill for around $1200 with instructions to call re: questions and payment. I've called every day this week and left messages with no return phone call. It seems impossible to reach an actual person to discuss payment plans and options.Initial Complaint

This company does not answer the phone. Have tried numerous times over past 2 months. I am unable to pay bill online. I am unable to call physical office number because the number listed on line ************ has been disconnected. This company sends a bill and encourages you to pay online, which I can't do because I don't recall the password or security questions apparently. There is no other option to call to have password reset. Two numbers are listed on the bill ************ and ************ but no personnel to man those numbers, Calls are transfered to a message machine without the option to wait for a person. The bill also does not include a spot to mail in a credit card payment. I would appreciate your help to facilitate getting my bill paid. ThanksInitial Complaint

This company keeps calling me telling me I have an outstanding balance due. However I haven't received anything in the mail and everything should have went through hospital which has all been taken care of and paid for by insurance. Again, everything has been paid. I demand these phone calls end and all issues be resolved. This is ridiculousBusiness response

I have called and left messages to please call me as I have tried several times to get on line to there web sight and pay this bill. yet I am unable to get on to their web sight. call and ask them to call back no return call. I want to get this bill taken care of yet they do not respond!! stated they were going to turn over to collections please answer your PHONEBusiness response

1) Verify phone number
2) Discuss the patients billing questions
3) Apologize for any inconvenience
4) Follow up in writing to the patient.

I had surgery at ***** ******** ******** on 5/24/2021. One Anesthesia PLLC was responsible for my anesthesia. I was billed $158.72, though I remember seeing a paper or electronic statement at that time. I learned of the charge through the insurance claim One Anesthesia filed with ********* **********. I paid online through INSTAMED on 7/16/2021 and received a receipt. I continue to receive harassing phone calls and paper statements now stating that I have not paid. The most recent has a statement date of 08/09/2021. One Anesthesia does not have a customer service number or website that I can find to resolve this issue, although I did email them through a page I found online.Business response

I went to billing site and saw I had overpaid $20.21 for a 10/1620 incident. I began requesting the return of my overpayment in Jan. 2021 via email. 2/5/21 S[poke to **** who stated that my refund was "on the sheet" and I should receive within the month, confirmed name, address, account #. On 3/4/21 I spoke with ******....same deal, assurance I was "on the page" to get my refund. On 6/15/21 I left an angry VM stating I expected the refund, confirmed account #, name, address, Recording stated I would get a return call in 48 hrs, 6/17/21 Another angry vm, again confirming account #, name, call back and address. Now today..3rd VM...5th attempt in all. Again, confirmed information, and advised I would file complaint as it has been 6 mos since I was assured my refund would be forthcoming. NO ONE has called to my knowledge, I have a landline with VM that is available, and NO calls Please assistBusiness response

Patient made payment of $52.84, which was her coinsurance amount per the ***** EOB.
I have attached the EOB for your reference.
We will contact the patient to discuss. However, based on the ***** EOB there is no refund due to the patient.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
At the time of the procedure, 10/16.21 I had ***** Insurance with an HSA account. I used the remaining $20.21 to pay part of my bill, it appears that was delayed in arriving, but I was told TWICE that it was showing on my file...therefore when I paid the $52.84 online THEREFORE I am owed the $20.21.(please note I no longer have *****, nor do I have access to the old HSA account)Thank you for your assistance
