Welcome to the Forest Service payment options website!

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) supports the mission of the Forest Service (FS) by providing improvements to the financial management processes. The goal of the CFO is to create an environment that enhances the use of integrated financial information by designing and implementing useful and reliable financial systems.  Because the CFO is committed to delivering services that present practical knowledge and application for the agency as well as the American public, we have implemented a new Point of Sale System (POSS).

As a result of our efforts to improve our cash management and collection processes, we now accept plastic cards as viable forms of payment for FS products purchased over-the-counter.  POSS offers our customers the benefit of more payment options.  Acceptable plastic cards include credit/debit cards that display the following logos:

* Acceptance of plastic cards is now available at all FS offices.

As an added benefit of the improvements to our collection process, instead of mailing your payments, you now have the option of paying your bills online using a check or plastic card. To take advantage of our new online process, click here to pay your bill now.
