Do not get sign a lease with this company at any cost. Have the lease from them (were on the house when we purchased), took over the lease 5 years ago. The reader stooped working in July, so they are not reporting to my electrical supplier. This has been going on since July 2023, now September 2023 and still have no date as to when it will be repaired, yet multiple (at least 6 calls) to them.

I read that this company was taken over by XLFleet in September of 2022
Someone posted a whistle blower phone number 1800 268 2417. Today I spoke with an answering service Answering the phone for the people who are suppose to be answering the phone. Horrible. I never opened anything with them and they're on my credit report. Tried to get them on the phone and no answer.. some crappy VM saying they're away at event and press 1 to leave VM then it disconnects. Now I'm in the middle of having to fight them and have them validate the debts. Answer your d*mn phone!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I am giving them negative 5 stars. Trying to reach anyone to speak with about your bill is a joke. I called last week to speak with someone about buying my system outright because I'm so tired of dealing with these people and was told I would receive a return call with 72-96 hours! What?? I have never heard of such customer service and to make matters worse, I never did get a return call! When I called again today I did manage to speak with a rep who told me it would cost $36,000 to buy out my contract. Again, what?? I could get a new system tomorrow for less than half that amount and my system is 6 years old. Anyone want to join me in a class action lawsuit??

Spruce Energy took over my Solar Leasing account that I had with NRG Home Solar. At the time of the switch from NRG to Spruce, I had a positive credit of app $35 in my favor because I would make advance quarterly payments. It had been 11 months since the switch and Spruce still has not responded to my emails. I had called back in Feb thru April, each time I was told their system was a little behind due to the switchover, but the credit will show up on my account. Subsequent emails to their billing departments received emails confirmation they received the email but no one has actually responded to the issue and my account has not been corrected. Horrible and non-existent customer service. How does this company stay in business? by fleecing customers?

They took over my lease from Sungevity which filed bankruptcy.
They were supposed to take over auto-pay, which automatically deducted the monthly payments from my bank account. All was well until they said I didn't pay them for 2 months.
I tried to call, no one answers.
Eventually they put me in collections for not paying.

The solar setup is OK but the billing is a bad, bad joke. I inherited a lease with a fixed per-month price. Wouldn't you think that price would stay put?
Yes, you would. But it doesn't. They keep changing it. I keep complaining. They change it back. Then they add $5 again. Repeat. Repeat. I have multiple emails claiming some form of "yes it's fixed." But it never is.

Horrible company! Ive been paying my bill onetime through my bank's bill pay for years. Received a call from Sprice's collection department today telling me I had assessed late fees all of 2022. I pulled up my bank statement which shows everything paid ON TIME. This information, even though i have definitive proof from the bank, was just too difficult for the simple minded I spoke with. He insisted that the problem was with my bill pay and I had to pay the late fees. I requested a call back from a manager- That didn't happen. This company is not there to solve problems-Only to create them where there aren't any. If you have any choice-find another company!

This has been the worse company to work with. Over 1year to finally get online access to have it work 1 time and now does not. I am unable to pay bills online or access my account. I did a refi and they took 45 days to complete the release and cost for it was over $300.00. Ended up delaying my review and had to pay to extend my lock. If I could give them a zero I would. I have emailed about access to my account and still not resolved going on 4 weeks dealing with that.

USE THE 844-533-5883 PHONE NUMBER. It is for Asset Collections but they transferred us to a live person. This company has delayed the closing of escrow on our home due to their lack of communication. For weeks we've been trying to get desperately needed information from them for the title company. They deserve 0 stars. But, the two customer service reps were extremely nice and helped us. Still will delay escrow closing. We will never lease solar again even if it means no more solar. They want us to go green? Not worth it if we have to deal with companies like this.
