The Sellersburg Utility Office is responsible for billing water, wastewater, and trash fees. The staff helps customers starting new utility services, posting payments, and addressing customer concerns. The Town offers several easy ways to pay your utility bill. Payments can be made in person, through the mail, or online. In-person payments can be made to the Utility Office located behind Town Hall from 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. After hours, use the 24-hour payment slot located in the drive-thru.

PAYMENT OPTIONS:

In person and afterhours depository address: 103 S. New Albany Street – Sellersburg, IN 47172. Payments by mail may be sent to: Sellersburg Billing Office - PO Box 175 - Sellersburg, IN 47172.

  • The Utility Billing Office is open to walk-in visitors Monday-Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm. Payments may be made online by visiting the link found on this page or by using the afterhours depository. If you have questions, please call (812)246-3821 opt. 1

  • NOTE: Payments made on the Due Date must be in the drop box by 4:00pm to avoid late penalties.

  • TO AVOID SERVICE INTERRUPTION: Disconnect payments must be made no later than 4:00pm the day before disconnection day to avoid interruptions of service and added penalties.

PLEASE READ REGARDING UPDATED ONLINE PAYMENT OPTIONS

The Town has switched online payment systems and you will need to re-register/create an online account the first time you use the system. This new system is much more user friendly and will give you more direct access to your account and usage information.

TO START NEW SERVICES:
To start new services, please complete the online new service application.
Please include a valid ID and copy of your renter's agreement or a copy of your seller’s disclosure or purchase agreement.

*Requests received after 3:00 pm will be processed the following business day.

All faucets or water-related appliances must be turned off or customer service representatives will not be able to turn services on.

Residential Service Requirements:

  • Resident must fill out New Service agreement
  • Valid driver’s license or Government issued ID
  • A formal rental lease/agreement if renting, otherwise closing documents or proof of ownership is required.
  • $55.00 Administrative Fee.
