The Robeson County Water Department is requesting that customers pay their water bills as soon as possible because Wednesday will bring back regular utility billing.
GovWednesday marks the end of Roy Cooper’s Executive Order 142, which was issued on March 31 and suspended residential utility service disconnections while waiving fines, fees, and interest on past-due amounts.
Cooper claimed that his executive orders do not allow for the forgiveness of customer debt.All balances incurred between March 31 and July 29 must still be paid in full by customers.

Additionally, payments may be made at the drive-through’s office or office drop box at 330 Sanchez Drive in Lumberton.
Leave checks or money orders in the box along with the water bill to pay via drop box.You can include account and CID numbers on your check or money order.
