City of Victorville Launches Utility Bill Assistance Program

VICTORVILLE, Calif. – The City of Victorville today announced the opening of its Utility Bill Assistance Program to assist residents who are falling behind on their utility payments as a result of hardships related to COVID-19.

The Victorville City Council unanimously decided to fund this program with $2 million from the American Rescue Plan Act on July 20. If you owe money for water, sanitation, storm drains, or household hazardous waste and you are a qualified residential or commercial customer, you can apply to receive a one-time payment to pay off your debt between April 2020 and July 2021.

Applications will be accepted through Aug. 23 or until funds are exhausted.
