City of Victorville Launches Utility Bill Assistance Program
VICTORVILLE, Calif. – The City of Victorville today announced the opening of its Utility Bill Assistance Program to assist residents who are falling behind on their utility payments as a result of hardships related to COVID-19.
The Victorville City Council unanimously decided to fund this program with $2 million from the American Rescue Plan Act on July 20. If you owe money for water, sanitation, storm drains, or household hazardous waste and you are a qualified residential or commercial customer, you can apply to receive a one-time payment to pay off your debt between April 2020 and July 2021.
Applications will be accepted through Aug. 23 or until funds are exhausted. The application is available on the City’s website at VictorvilleCA. gov/utilityhelp or by going in person to the City Hall customer service desks. Contact the Utility Assistance Program at (760) 955-5001 with any questions.
