NOW, expecting me to double-click the side button to complete the transaction, the “Double click to pay” screen appears. IS THIS WHAT SHOULD BE HAPPENING?
When I DO double-click the side button, the screen changes to one that reads, “Oops, we’re having a little trouble,” and I get a message at the bottom saying, “Payment not complete.” “I’ve had this happening to me for the past three days.” For each attempt I have made (7 total), there is a “pending” 1 cent hold visible in my Wallet under the Apple card transactions. None have changed from a “pending status. They all agree that I would have received 3% cash back if this had been successful. Then I tried doing everything with just my Apple Card account number as my default credit card with Tmobile, and while it did make a payment and set the Apple Card as my default payment card for my Tmobile auto pay bills, I only received 1% cash back as a result. That method obviously excludes the use of Apple Pay in favor of its Apple Card. I’d LIKE to receive the 3% back, but it appears that using Apple Pay with the Apple Card set as the default card is the only way to do so.
